Summer Solstice Scents and Sips

HERB TEA AT ARDGILLAN CASTLE

This calming and uplifting workshop offers a chance to slow down, connect with nature and savour the flavours and scents of midsummer. A stroll through the fragrant rose garden will lead to Ardgillan’s beautiful walled herb garden, where Denise will introduce a selection of wild and cultivated herbs traditionally used in herbal teas and infusions. Enjoy the heady summer scents of elderflowers, roses and other seasonal aromatic herbs.

The workshop then continues inside the castle, where Denise will demonstrate a variety of herbal tea-making techniques and prepare a selection of fresh herbal infusions for everyone to enjoy. As participants relax with fragrant teas, they will learn about the benefits of using seasonal herbs and herbal infusions for health and wellbeing, and simple ways to incorporate them into everyday life.
