HERBAL TEAS AND TISSANES

Herbal teas are one of the simplest forms of medicine, while also being very effective. Knowing how to use herbs to treat minor ailments is a valuable life skill. From mint or fennel for indigestion, to herbal combinations that will aid sleep, ease a fever or soothe a cough, there is always an herb that can aid and support you.
 
In this workshop, a plant identification session will be followed by a practical demonstration on the various methods that can be used to make beneficial medicinal herbal teas that also taste good. You will have an opportunity to taste a range of delicious herbal teas and tea blends, using both fresh and dried herbs.

What should I wear?

Please wear sturdy, waterproof shoes or boots and bring a rain jacket, as we’ll be outdoors in all conditions.

A notebook is useful for taking notes or pressing leaves and flowers. A small bottle of water is recommended for rinsing wild leaves before tasting. Bring a keep cup or small glass for herb tea tasting.

Workshops go ahead in most weather conditions. We only cancel in cases of very severe weather or official storm warnings.

We aim to be as inclusive as possible. Please contact us before booking to discuss any accessibility needs.

The medicinal herb workshop is not suitable for young children. If you would like to bring an older child, please enquire at time of booking.

Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted on this workshop.

Yes, free parking is available at our locations.
